How can you support your
child and their friends?

All people – young people most all – should live a life free of fear and abuse. It’s up to us to do something when they do experience abuse – when we witness it firsthand, and when we see the effects on a child’s life.

Abuse is difficult to talk about and is often hidden from view. People only rarely witness abuse firsthand. Showing empathy and being trustworthy will help your child and their friends come to you with questions or concerns about abusive behavior.
